Great for a Night
Perfect location for the Festival Theatre. Friendly, welcoming staff. Very comfortable room. Great selection for breakfast. Very good Wi-Fi I would use them again if going to the theatre.
TV has many channels on the guide, but not all work. Breakfast, although a great selection, certain improvements in the cooking process for certain items could be better, but most are perfect.

What was the highlight of KM Hotel
Great location and superb breakfast!
The hotel has a great location, in the middle of the old town in Edinburgh. Most of the main attractions are at a walking distance so it makes it easier for tourists only visiting for a couple of days. The buffet breakfast was the best, it had both warm and cold options and great coffee. I was really surprised as I didn't expect this from a small hotel. The room is a reasonable size, and the shower was pretty spacious. The room has a desk if you need to work and USB ports so that you can charge your phone without an adapter. Bed was super comfy and the room was spot clean! Would definitely come back.
The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you are bringing a big suitcase you might want to request a room in one of the lower floors. We stayed 3 nights and then came back for an extra night after our tour in the Highlands. The only issue we had was that the bathroom extractor would turn-on on its own and it was really loud. We did not have this issue in our first room so could be that it was only in an issue with this particular room. Also, one side of the bed is right next to the wall so this might be uncomfortable for couples.
